You are always welcome to do so in your home. Additionally, libraries, lounges and private dining rooms are available for resident use on a first-come, first-served reservation basis. Some include kitchens for meal preparation. You can also access catering from our dining services staff.

Western Home Communities insures the physical structures and common spaces (dining rooms, libraries, lounges, etc.) of the five retirement communities. Residents should purchase a renter’s insurance policy, typically about $125 per year, for furniture and personal belongings.

You will pay property tax on your home. You may claim a homestead credit and, if applicable, a military service credit on your taxes. Also, property taxes are deductible for those who itemize.
