Hope That Holds Us
By Chaplain Doug Stone
Hope is note wishful thinking. Hope is the steady confidence that God keeps His promises. In Jesus Christ we see that hope made personal. Jesus meets us in our weakness. He carries us in our worries, and He assures us that nothing in our lives is beyond His redeeming grace. Scripture reminds us:
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
Because of Christ’s death and resurrection, we face each day not alone, but upheld by a love stronger than every burden.
Even when our steps feel slower or our days feel uncertain, God’s grace remains constant. Jesus tells us:
“And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
That promise is enough to steady the heart. May His presence fill you with quiet courage and a hope that holds fast.
